Desalegn Enawgaw is a multidisciplinary artist born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. His artistic journey began at the Enlightenment Art Academy, where he honed his skills and passion for sculpture. In 2016, he delved into the realm of architecture and urban planning at Unity University, showcasing his diverse interests. Throughout his career, Desalegn has exhibited his artwork at prestigious venues, including solo exhibitions at Golla Art Gallery in 2023 and participation in group shows at the same gallery in 219. His work has graced the walls of renowned establishments such as Sheraton Addis Hotel (2019, 2017), Radisson Blu Hotel (2012), Taitu Hotel (2012), and the Ethiopian National Theater Art Gallery (2010). Desalegn's artistic journey has taken him to various platforms, including the Art-Et Art Gallery in 2014, Asni Gallery at Lafto Mall in 2009, and the Teferi Mekonen School of Fine Art Gallery in 2012. His creative endeavors reflect a fusion of influences from his academic background in fine arts and architecture, making him a notable figure in the Ethiopian art scene.
